A Story from the Heart!
Finally—after 2 Years of Searching, It Happened.
We met at Chick-Fil-A and within a few minutes, I knew that NO matter what it took, I was going to help her.…
A single mom, working 2 jobs, doing everything she could to provide for her and her family. Like many of us, she had been through so much, had a dream of home ownership and wasn’t sure if it was possible.
After speaking and reviewing the process, I put her in touch with a lender that would be able to guide her. We looked at countless properties, making offer after offer, then final we found one! It needed some work, ok, a LOT of work, however we were all excited! I had received a quote from my contractor, the lender was on board and a inspector reviewed the repairs. It all fell apart...the inspector came back with unreasonable requirements and would not budge.
Luckily, I was able to find a buyer to step in to purchase the property, so she wasn’t out of the money she had put in so far. We took a break from searching for several months. It was understandable, to be so close then have everything fall apart.
In December we started looking again. Once again, offer after offer, property after property, nothing seemed to work. Then, I went back through and expanded our search. I found it! The buyer’s financing fell through and I knew it wouldn’t stay on the market for long. She loved it!!!! Offer written and excepted, while I was running 102 fever, lol. Remember, NO matter what it took!
Finally, after 2 years, she was a homeowner. Her excitement and enjoyment, filled my heart. This! This is why I do what I do. It is at my core to help people. It’s about being so happy tears come to your eyes. A distant dream became a reality.
We all have dreams. This is a story to not give up, continue to pray, and keep moving forward. I’m here to help people sell and buy homes. Regardless of the situation, we will have an open and honest conversation to get you where you need to be.
